Q4 2023 Performance of Top Android Finance Apps in Latin America

As the year 2023 wrapped up, the investing and financial management app landscape in Latin America saw a variety of user engagement trends, according to Sensor Tower data. Here's how the top Android apps in this category performed in the fourth quarter.

Binance: Buy Bitcoin & Crypto, despite reporting no revenue, saw a steady flow of downloads, starting at 71K in the last week of September and peaking at 93K in mid-October. The app closed the quarter with around 81K downloads in the last week of December. Weekly active users rose from 807K to a high of 976K in late October, before ending the quarter at 956K.

World App - Worldcoin Wallet experienced a significant surge in downloads, jumping from 11K to an outstanding 232K in the last week of December. The app's weekly active users reflected this growth, starting at 159K and soaring to 532K by the end of the quarter.

IQ Option – Trading Platform also had no reported revenue but showed a varied download pattern, with initial downloads of 55K, a peak at 67K, and then a decrease to 44K in the final week of December. The app's active users started strong at 709K but saw a decline to 580K by the quarter's end.

XP Investimentos, a Brazil-based app, maintained a consistent download rate, ranging from 28K to 27K across the quarter. Weekly active users showed more fluctuation, reaching a high of 793K in early October and settling at 749K in the last week of December.

Lastly, XTB Online Investing faced a challenging quarter. Downloads decreased from 33K to under 10K, and weekly active users mirrored this trend, starting at 55K and reducing to 44K by the quarter's close.
